Are you ready for the upcoming election? Next month, our city will be choosing a mayor, as well as city council representatives in each district. An $850 million bond program, broken into specific propositions (none of which will require a tax increase) is also on the ballot. For more information about the candidates in their own words, or to read about the propositions that will be on the ballot, click on the League of Women Voters website.
Once you’ve done your homework, grab your picture ID and head to your nearest polling place starting April 24, to avoid long lines on Election Day, May 6th. A list of voting sites (and a link to check that you are currently registered to vote) can be found at the Bexar County Elections Department website.
